What not counting costs
Going over 650 hOrdinary contributions and withholding tax beyond: up to 13.07% instead of 2.71%, but below €15 an hour the work bonus wipes out most of it. Your employer pays a lot more, though, and your child benefit can be lost.
Going over €12,300 netYou are no longer a dependant: your parents lose the tax advantage.
More than 240 h in a quarterBrussels (summer free only if you carry on studying) and Wallonia (summer included, student contract excluded up to 650 h): that quarter’s child benefit is lost.
