Terms of use
Version of 15 September 2026.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the Trakko mobile and web app and of the trakko.be website (together “Trakko”), published by MMH SRL (Belgian private limited company) (see Legal notice). By installing or using Trakko you accept them. If you disagree, do not use Trakko.
2. What Trakko does
Trakko helps you log your working hours, estimate what you will receive and track the legal limits that apply to you (student quota, flexi-job, child benefit, dependant status, health insurance). Trakko is free, ad-free and does not sell your data.
3. Estimates, not an official source
Amounts, hours and alerts are estimates computed from the data you enter and from the rules published by the Belgian authorities, as Trakko knows them on a given date. They are neither legal, tax or social advice nor a certificate. Only the official counters and documents (Student@work, mycareer.be, your payslip, your contract) are authoritative. Check them before any decision.
4. Access and age
Trakko is for people who work in Belgium, from age 15. If you are under 16, ask a parent or guardian before creating an account. No registration is needed to use the app: your data then stays on your device.
5. Account
The account is optional and is created with an email address and a one-time code. You are responsible for access to your mailbox and your device. You can delete your account and all its data at any time from the app (Profile, Account) or through the “Delete my account” page.
6. Your data, your documents
You remain the owner of the data you enter (hours, jobs, amounts) and of the documents produced (timesheets, tickets, recaps). You grant the publisher only the technical right to store and process them to provide the service. What you share (confirmation links, images, messages) is your responsibility: you choose what is visible and who you send it to.
7. Fair use
You undertake to enter accurate data, to use Trakko for your own tracking, not to circumvent its protections or attempt to access other people’s data, and not to use Trakko to organise or conceal undeclared work. The messages Trakko prepares (reminder, formal notice, correction request) are templates: you review and take responsibility for their content before sending them.
8. Availability and changes
Trakko is provided as is, with no commitment to permanent availability. Features, encoded rules and amounts may change, be corrected or removed at any time, in particular with every change in the law or indexation. App updates go through the stores; rules may be updated remotely.
9. Intellectual property
The Trakko name, mascot, Trakked stamp, texts, illustrations and code are protected. The publisher grants you a personal, free, non-exclusive and revocable licence to use the app for your own needs. Stickers and story templates published by Trakko may be used freely to talk about Trakko.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for decisions taken on the basis of Trakko’s estimates, for late or missing payments by an employer, for errors in the data entered, or for the loss of data stored only on your device (create an account to back it up). Nothing in these terms limits the rights Belgian law guarantees you as a consumer.
11. Personal data
The processing of your data is described in the Privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
12. Ending use
You can stop using Trakko whenever you want by uninstalling the app and deleting your account. The publisher may suspend or close an account used abusively or contrary to these terms, after informing you, except in urgent cases.
13. Changes
The publisher may change these terms. The version in force is the one published on trakko.be, with its date. In case of a significant change, Trakko informs you in the app; continuing to use it after that notice counts as acceptance.
14. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Belgian law. In case of disagreement, write to us first: we look for an amicable solution within 30 days. You may also contact the Consumer Mediation Service (mediationconsommateur.be / consumentenombudsdienst.be) or the European online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr). Otherwise the Belgian courts have jurisdiction; as a consumer you may bring the case before the courts of your place of residence.
