Privacy policy

In short
Without an account, nothing leaves your phone. With an account, your data is synced to servers in Europe, encrypted in transit, isolated per user, and erased on request. No ads, no tracking, no resale.

Data processed
Without an account: no data is sent to the publisher, everything is stored locally on your device. With an account: your email address and a technical identifier; your profile (first name, date of birth, region, statuses, settings); your jobs (name, contract type, rate, payday); your shifts (dates, hours, breaks, amounts); your templates and confirmation links. Always stay on your device: your IBAN (payment QR), cash-paid jobs and their shifts as long as you keep that setting, and biometric lock (handled by the system). Trakko collects no location, contacts, photos or advertising identifier.
Why
To provide the service (sync your data between your devices, produce your timesheets, send your sign-in codes and a welcome email), to answer your messages, to keep the service secure and running (technical logs).
Legal bases
Performance of the service you request (account, sync, confirmation links, sign-in emails); your consent (email left in the form, notifications you enable); the publisher’s legitimate interest in securing and running the service (anonymised technical logs).
Who has access
No one but you, except the technical providers that host or carry data on the publisher’s behalf: Supabase (database and authentication, European Union, Ireland), Resend (email delivery, United States, European Commission standard contractual clauses), Vercel (hosting of the site and web app, United States, same clauses). The stores (Apple, Google) handle installation under their own policies. Your data is never sold or passed to advertisers. Someone you send a confirmation link to sees only the period and the job you chose.
Retention
Account data is kept as long as the account exists and erased immediately when you delete it. Anonymous technical logs are erased after 30 days. A message from the form is kept as long as needed to answer it, at most 12 months. Local data stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Security
Encryption in transit (HTTPS), per-user data isolation (database-level access rules), sign-in with a one-time code and no password, optional app lock with fingerprint or face. No system is infallible: report any issue to the address above.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection: write to bonjour@trakko.be. Reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels).
Minors
Trakko can be used from age 15. The publisher does not knowingly collect data from children under 13; if it happened, write to us and it is erased.
Cookies and analytics
The site sets no cookies and uses no audience measurement. The app and web app use only your device or browser local storage to work (your data, your session), never to track you.
Deleting your account
From the app, Profile then Account, or through the “Delete my account” page. Deletion erases everything server-side, immediately and permanently.
Changes
This policy may change; the version in force and its date are published here. In case of a significant change, Trakko informs you in the app.
